EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR PROFILE

Jennifer Judy Ayaam is a compassionate and community-focused leader dedicated to improving the lives of underserved populations.  With a dynamic background in Public Health, Health Research, and a Development Practitioner she has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by marginalized communities.

 She has for many years served as a Project Officer for Health, Nutrition, and HIV/AIDs and also as a Research Officer where she implemented projects addressing large-scale health programs, Access to social services, and Economic Empowerment and also collaborated with local government agencies to build a network of support for underserved populations.

She brings a wealth of experience in Project Management, Sustainable Development, Budgeting, Programming, Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation, Community Engagement and Development, Child Protection, Advocacy, Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition, Adolescent Health, HIV and AIDS, Women Empowerment, Gender Analysis, Facilitation and Training Skills as well as working in Partnerships.

Through her dedication and community-focused initiatives, the organization continues to be a beacon of hope for those facing economic and social challenges.

Brief History of CETRAD

Community Empowerment for Transformational Development (CETRAD) is a non-profit
organization working to advance equitable development by helping to spearhead community
driven initiatives and enable needy community groups participate in integrated activities to
achieve quality livelihood, improved access to quality healthcare, education, water, and
sanitation facilities.
Founded in 2022, CETRAD focuses on sustainable community development by assisting and
supporting rural communities through implementation of programmes in the areas of Economic
empowerment, Health, Education, Environment, Water, sanitation and Hygiene, Child
Protection, as well as any other developmental activities in Northern Ghana.
CETRAD is committed to advancing the welfare and status of the marginalized and vulnerable
especially children, women, and the poor in society. CETRAD primarily sought to promote
sustainable, inclusive, and resilient community development initiatives that reduces poverty,
contributes to Good Health and Well-being. The organization empowers women and girls by
adopting strategies through community initiatives, participation, and sensitization and through
evidenced based advocacy and capacity building. We embrace the application of cutting-edge
innovations that are culturally appropriate, gender sensitive and responsive to the needs of
marginalized individuals, families, and communities in a sustainable fashion.
The organization inspires to improve the living conditions of the poor and marginalized groups
by working with partners to break down the social, political, and economic barriers that
marginalized people face and develop innovative ways to create a future free from poverty,
disease, and discrimination and human rights violations.
The programmes that are been facilitated by CETRAD all resonate with the United Nation’s
Sustainable Development Goals, recognizing that ending poverty and other deprivations must
go together with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur
economic growth while tackling climate change.
